Hi everybody! I'm Peter Radsliff, CEO of Presto Services Inc. (www.presto.com), developer of Presto computerless email. I am also founder and chairman of the non-profit Aging Technology Alliance (www.agetek.org), a consortium of companies and organizations all aimed at making the world better for us as we age.
This blog will keep you abreast of the latest information on Presto and other advances in technology that can help our loved ones be happy and health as they age. If you are interested in this area of endeavor, I recommend that you subscribe to this Blog by email or RSS Feed.
If you are unfamiliar with the company, here is a bit about Presto…
Presto was founded in 2004 on the concept that it shouldn’t be so darned hard to communicate between family members just because they prefer to use different tools. So we set about to design a solution that allowed the whole family to communicate using whatever technology was their favorite, and without them needing to learn anything new.
With Presto, it doesn’t matter if you use a telephone, cell phone, smartphone, iPhone, iPad, PC, Macintosh, Outlook, Webmail, Facebook, or none of the above...it’s still possible for everyone in the family to stay connected and involved in each other’s life. The trick is to know how to make all these technologies talk to one another without forcing anyone to do anything different than they would normally do.
And that’s what the Presto team does. We use our technology skills to make it unnecessary for you to use yours. Some people call that “ease of use” or focusing on “user experience.” We just call it common sense. And when we set out to build our company, we applied common sense to a lot of other things as well. We instituted no subscription contracts (we hate ’em, too), and provided a two month return policy with full refund. We also included lifetime tech support staffed by support agents in North America.
We treat our subscribers and their family members just as if they were our own family. And if something goes wrong, we make it right...period. That’s how we roll, and we think that’s how you do, too. With that, we hope you’ll consider making Presto part of your family. Thank you.
